UCFD#1 Partners with UEC on Pole-Top Training Drill

On Tuesday, September 16th, UCFD#1 was proud to partner with Umatilla Electric Cooperative as their line crews completed vital pole-top safety training drills.

Division Chief of EMS & Training Corey Gorham and Battalion Chief Ed Clark observed the training, providing guidance on emergency medical response during high-risk scenarios.


Line crews aren’t just utility workers — they’re first responders. When fires threaten homes and power lines, UEC crews are right there with us on the front lines, working shoulder-to-shoulder to protect our community.
